Learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door.
Campaign Description:
We’re taking the classroom on the road — and we need your help.
Explore Jozi is a one-day educational field trip for primary school learners, designed to expose them to the rich history, art, and science that Johannesburg has to offer. Through interactive visits to iconic sites, we aim to spark curiosity, celebrate local heritage, and broaden young horizons.
Planned stops include:
-
Apartheid Museum – Understanding South Africa’s history through interactive exhibits
-
Constitution Hill – Learning about human rights, justice, and the law
-
Sci-Bono Discovery Centre – Science comes alive with hands-on experiments
-
Maboneng Precinct – Creative arts and the power of community innovation
-
Plus: Lunch at Zoo Lake for play and reflection
Why we need your support:
Many families can’t afford the cost of school outings, and yet these experiences are often the most memorable and impactful for a child’s growth. With your help, we’ll ensure that every child gets a seat on the bus, a meal, and the chance to discover their city with new eyes.
Funds will go toward:
-
Safe, insured group transport
-
Entrance fees for learners and staff
-
Packed lunch and water for the day
-
On-site guides and facilitators
-
Educational booklets and reflection journals
Let’s make learning real, joyful, and accessible.
Help us show the next generation how inspiring Johannesburg truly is.
