Empowering young minds to care for their world — one lesson at a time.
Campaign Description:
Mission Earthwise: Centurion Campaign is a curriculum-aligned environmental education initiative designed to help students in primary and high schools learn the importance of sustainability through active participation.
Rather than relying solely on theory, Mission Earthwise provides structured learning experiences through organized clean-up days, team-building challenges, and hands-on environmental science activities.
The Program Includes:
-
Pre-event lesson plans and activity packs for teachers, aligned with environmental science and social studies curricula
-
Community clean-up days coordinated with local schools and youth groups
-
Eco-team kits (gloves, reusable bags, reflective vests, and educational handbooks)
-
A mobile “Eco Lab” pop-up tent with interactive exhibits and science demos
-
Transport for learners and staff to and from designated clean-up areas
-
Certificates and awards for participating learners and top-performing schools
-
Post-event classroom discussions and project templates for reflection and assessment
Why It Matters:
Mission Earthwise addresses key educational goals by fostering environmental awareness, civic responsibility, teamwork, and critical thinking. It gives students the chance to make a visible impact on their communities while learning how daily habits affect the planet.
Target Groups: Grades 4–10 in Centurion-based public and private schools
Timeline: Four weekend events across the next academic term
We are seeking your support to fund the rollout of this initiative across Centurion and to provide every learner with the tools and experience needed to become environmental ambassadors in their own communities.
