We’re not teaching kids to clean up — we’re teaching them to transform.
Campaign Description:
Welcome to The Recycle Lab — a mobile, pop-up makerspace where kids build wild, weird, and working creations from discarded materials.
We’re hitting the road with one goal:
Show children that waste isn’t worthless — it’s potential waiting for imagination.
In each 2-hour session, learners:
-
Collect clean, safe recyclables (plastic, cardboard, wire, metal, etc.)
-
Get access to tools, glue guns, motors, batteries, gears
-
Work in teams to design and build their own inventions: robots, games, windmills, sculptures, or working gadgets
-
Present their creations at a mini “expo” at the end of the day
Every session focuses on eco-awareness, engineering basics, and self-expression — with prizes not for the best, but for the most creative problem-solvers.
What your support makes possible:
-
A branded trailer fitted with fold-out workstations
-
Toolkits, safety gear, batteries, motors, glue, and workshop materials
-
Facilitator training and volunteer recruitment
-
A free pilot program at three schools in underserved areas
-
“Invention journals” for every child to take home
We want to spark a generation of kids who look at trash — and see possibilities.
Let’s invent a better world, one bottle cap at a time.
