When tech meets terrain, exploration gets real.
Let young minds uncover the secrets of the wild — with smart tools and big questions.
Campaign Description:
ExploraTech is a series of youth expeditions designed to bring technology and environmental exploration together.
Small teams of young explorers, guided by field experts, will head into wild and rural areas across South Africa — equipped with smart tools like:
-
Drones to scan landscapes and spot wildlife
-
Environmental sensors to monitor air, water, and soil quality
-
GPS gear and mapping tablets to digitally log their journeys
-
Portable solar kits to power everything off-grid
Each expedition will have a real mission:
Tracking animal movement, documenting pollution, mapping forgotten trails, or creating 3D models of endangered ecosystems.
Participants will learn coding, field research, and team problem-solving — while reconnecting with nature.
At the end of each mission, data and stories are compiled into a public digital journal that anyone can explore online.
Why this matters:
-
Kids learn to use tech for real-world problem solving
-
Rural and urban youth work together across regions
-
We raise a generation of tech-literate environmental guardians
Let’s build a world where exploring your country means building your future.
Funds drone kits, portable solar power, field sensors, safety gear, transport, and training for 5 regional expeditions.
